Conveyor Escalator

The working principle of the Conveyor Escalator is based on an electrically driven circulating conveyor belt system, which realizes horizontal or small-angle inclined transportation of passengers through a mechanical structure. Its core components and operating mechanisms are as follows:

1. Core drive system

Power source

Power is provided by an electric motor, which transmits power to the drive sprocket through a reduction gearbox, driving the chain or transmission belt to circulate. The drive host is usually located at the end (upper or lower end) of the walkway, and some long-distance equipment adopts a multi-point drive design to disperse the load.

‌Transmission structure‌

‌Stepping type‌: The metal pedal is hinged into a continuous circulation road surface, and the pedal surface has anti-skid tooth grooves, which slide on the guide rail through chain traction.

‌Belt type‌: The entire steel belt is covered with a rubber layer as the walking surface, and the movement is achieved by roller transmission.

‌Dual-line type‌: The traction chain of the vertical pin shaft constitutes a two-way circulation track, which can run two conveyor belts in opposite directions at the same time.
